     Melting Furnace

     1.1  Composition and Structural Characteristics

     1.1.1 Steel furnace body

    The furnace structure is by welding A3 steel plate and shaped steel. Furnace bottom adopts I beam and channel steel as frame, frame is sealed by 8-10mm A3 plate. The furnace side uses I beam and channel steel, the frame is sealed by 8-10mm A3 plates. All of the frame and steel plate interface shall be welded with good rigidity and gas tightness. The furnace door frame is welded by channel and steel plate which is fixed to the furnace top and suit the promotion and demotion of the small furnace door.

    1.1.2 Refractory Material

    The main structure of melting furnace is the Vault top straight door square furnace, the top structure adopts suspended roof brick(contain 60% Al2O3)with castables: low cement castables(contain 60%Al2O3) and light heat insulation castable pouring(density 1.0-1.2). The flattop structure and reasonable dilatation joint design make the roof suits different temperature conditions of thermal deformation with high strength, difficult collapse, and long service life.

    The furnace melt pool and bottom are built by high quality impermeable aluminum brick(≥ 70% Al2O3), these Bricks are used 150mm above the molten aluminum, 150mm under the slag line. Above the slag line, it adopts high quality first level clay brick(contain 43% Al2O3),the out insulation adopts 20mm alu silicate stick to the frame plate and then build diatomite insulating brick. Thickness of furnace insulating layer wall is 500mm.

    The mouth of the furnace door is poured by steel fibre castable (includes 70% Al2O3), the furnace door is poured by low cement castable (includes 60% Al2O3), the mouth of the burner is poured by special type low cement castable (includes 80% Al2O3)

     1.1.3 Furnace door and lifting

    The door shall be welded by structure steel and filled by aluminum silicate heat insulation cotton and low cement high-strength concrete pouring materials(contain 60% Al2O3) with flat sealing surface, to fit with the seal of furnace, and pneumatic cylinders for sealing and clamping of the doors, the structure is simple and practical. The door with a weight tray is jointed by rope or chain. After the door and weight tray jointing, the weight of both sizes just balance, the door stopped at random in travel range. The lifting motion is motor-driven.

     1.1.4 Ignition system

    The combustion system is equipped with one small igniter burner, before the main burner lighting, first the nature gas burner is light. Then the gas lit the main burner.

     1.1.5 Flame detection system

    By the special UV flame probe to detect the flame, the probe will give a detection signal to flame detection board, and feedback to the PLC, achieve the combustion system work automatically. When the flame detector does not work, PLC won't get signals, thus the whole combustion system doesn't work.

     1.1.6 Liquid temperature detector

    The temperature detection device adopts manual measurement.

     1.1.7 Heating and control system

    The furnace is equipped with Two set of burning system.

    The burning system is controlled automatically to ensure the temperature of aluminum water being controlled in setting value ±5°C. When up to the setting temperature, it will stop and ignite automatically.

    1.2  Technical parameters
